The Taste of Place Trails campaign has been created by Wild About Argyll for the following reasons:

  • To fully embed our food and drink offering into out day to day visitor experiences
  • To celebrate the breadth and quality of Argyll's exceptional food and drink offer
  • To encourage more locals to enjoy what is on their doorstep
  • To showcase the core three elements of People, Place and Produce
  • To inspire repeat visitor trips and loyalty to the destination for food & drink experiences
  • To support our local producers and nurture business collaboration across Argyll & the Isles

Be part of Pedaddling

The Pedaddling campaign has been created by Wild About Argyll for the following reasons:

  • As Scotland’s Adventure Coast we have a incredible variety of opportunities to explore under people power on two wheels and on the water.
  • Argyll is simply a stones throw from Glasgow and accessible by all forms of public transport.
  • Argyll welcomes the UK's first adventure carriage running twice daily on the Oban line from Glasgow's Queen Street Station.
  • Argyll has an enviable network of trails and launch points allowing people to cross the region and find what interest them most.
  • With the Taste of Place Trails we can readily link adventure with food and drink and create individual itineraries for every taste.

The campaign will promote the following activities:

Pack rafting

Above & Below is partnership between Nature Scot and Argyll & the Isles Tourism Co-operative (AITC). We have developed a map, directory and guidance that identifies to visitors and residents sites within five themes;

'Going the Extra Mile' is a campaign designed to share and promote all the positive ways in which we are safely and responsibly returning to sustainable tourism post-lockdown.

A range of assets have been created for you to use, free, for your own business. We ask you use these responsibly with positive, careful and thoughtful messaging. If in doubt, please just ask.
