Island adventures

If you fancy a Scottish island adventure, then Bute is a great choice. It’s easily reached from the Central Belt of Scotland and there’s loads to see and do. Bute is the perfect place for a cycling mini-adventure. One of the best ways to see if Bute is to cycle the 23-mile loop that takes you right around the island.

Or how about walking the West Island Way? This 30-mile route, one of Scotland’s Great Trails, takes you the length of the island. Bute is great for watersports. These are world-class sailing grounds and the coastline is a paddlers paradise. It’s also a wild swimmer’s paradise, with clean, clear waters and wide, sheltered bays.
