Colintraive Community Garden & Heritage Centre
Colintraive Village Hall has a wide and varied programme of events throughout the year including social events, fundraising events, quizzes, fete, Christmas fair and Hogmanay Party.
The Colintraive Community Garden and Heritage Centre are situated right next to the Village Hall. The garden was created by the village community for the BBC's Beechgrove Garden television programme in 2003 and has been maintained by residents ever since.
The garden is open all year round and visitors can follow a range of paths through the colourful flowerbeds which include several exotic species. There are also dry-stone walls surrounding the garden and a picnic area and pond.
The Heritage Centre is on the other side of the Village Hall. Set beside the Milton Burn it tells the story of the development of the village and its farming heritage in artifacts, pictures and film. It opens from April until October and is free to visit.
