Otter Bay in Otter Ferry must have one of the finest views in the west. The huge Oitir spit stretches right out into the loch and is always teeming with birdlife and a great place to watch seals playing in the waters of Loch Fyne.
While away the hours watching the yachts sail by, paddling and beachcombing, or take the plunge from the end of the pontoon, but look out for jellyfish before you leap!
Stay until the sun sets over the water and floods the sky with deep and spectacular colour, mirrored perfectly in the water.
And if you get peckish, the wonderful Oystercatcher is right on the beach and serves up delicious fare, local ales, perfectly chilled beer and wine.
