The Oystercatcher is a pub and restaurant on the east banks of Loch Fyne at Otter Ferry. The location is pretty unbeatable, as it sits right on the beach looking out over the loch. Perfect for sunset drinks! It's serves up delicious lunches and dinners and is open at 10am for coffee.
After recent renovation, it's now now open under new management. You can expect a friendly welcome and lovingly prepared, locally sourced food, including Ballimore Oysters and Evanachan cheese both from within a mile, local mussels and crab, and meat from the surrounding farms of Loch Fyne.
In the bar you'll find a wide selection of Scottish craft beers as well as an extensive list of single malt whisky and small batch gin.
All this can be enjoyed in the restaurant, dog-friendly bar or by the loch-side in the outdoor dining area.
It's a popular haunt with sailors. During the summer the local volunteer pier association provide fifteen moorings and a pontoon for pubic use just beside The Oystercatcher. There' s no set charge for use of the moorings, but donations towards maintenance are welcome and can be left in the bar.
