Lussa Gin is made on the Isle of Jura by three women who live at the north end of the island. It’s made by hand in small batches using 15 botanicals that can be grown or gathered on the island.
Key ingredients are lemon thyme, rose petals, bog myrtle, elderflower, Scots pine, honeysuckle, sea lettuce and watermint. Spring water comes from the Lussa Glen.
The distilling, bottling and labelling all takes place on Jura.
The tweed that sits on the neck of the bottle is made by the Islay Woollen Mill.
Lussa Gin is now stocked in over 50 retailers across Scotland and can also be purchased online via the website.
Lussa Gin has recently been shortlisted for a Scotland Food & Drink Award and a Scottish Gin Award.
