On an island just 7 miles wide and 30 miles long, there is but one road, one hotel and one distillery. It's well worth making the effort to visit this distillery. The Isle of Jura Distillery opened in 1810 but fell into disuse. It was revitalised in the 1960s by two locals, Robin Fletcher and Tony Riley-Smith. Today the distillery produces a wide range of unique malts produced using traditional methods. Enjoy a free tour lasting 40 minutes to learn more about the distilling process. A complimentary dram is also included at the end of the tour.
