Bute 10K Road Race
Event Date & Time:
The Bute 10K Road Race is part of the Bute Highland Games. The race has established itself as a firm fixture in running club diaries with many considering that the route, with views over the Clyde estuary, Loch Striven and the Kyles of Bute, is one of the most spectacular in Scotland.
Competitors leave the Games’ Stadium at approximately 3.00pm, travelling down through the town then turning northwards along the coast road, passing the Skeoch Woods and Ardbeg Point then on to Port Bannatyne where they turn back along the route to the finish line in the Stadium with approximately 3,000 spectators cheering the runners en route.
