Tiree Music Festival

Event details

Event Date & Time:

Prepare yourself for a musical island adventure! With traditional and gaelic performers, contemporary Scottish rock and indie artists, great camping facilities and loads of family activities, the Tiree Music Festival has it all. It's a great way to experience the magic and beauty of Tiree.

Food from Argyll will be there with a menu including Real MacKay Stovies, Taynuilt haggis, Mackays meat pies and macaroni cheese, Loch Fyne fish and shellfish, including oysters and  paella, Churchill venison burgers and Home Ground coffee and donuts.

As far as festival backdrops go, few can be more beautiful than the island of Tiree. Think picture-perfect white sands, world-famous surf, deserted roads lined with lush greenery and wild flowers...

The Tiree Music Festival was set up by Daniel Gillespie, a Tiree local and musician with the band Skerryvore, in 2010. Since then it has become a sell-out success and a landmark event of the Scottish festival scene. In 2012 and 2013 it was named ‘Best Small Festival’ at the Scottish Events Awards.
