Fyne Ales is an independent Scottish farm brewery.
When the Delap family founded the brewery in 2001, their goal was not only to make the best quality beer, but to bring jobs, industry and tourism to the local community and their quiet corner of rural Scotland. We’ve continued brewing in this spirit ever since.
Our Argyll location, part of a 4500 acre stretch of glen owned by the Delap family for generations, is a key part of who we are. We work in harmony with our environment, drawing brewing water from the hills, using solar energy to power our Brewery Tap, and feeding our herds of highland cattle and red deer using spent grain from the brewing process.
Brewing in an isolated location means we’ve had to work a little harder and get a little more creative over the past sixteen years, but it’s through our connection with our location, our history, and our community that we’ve established a strong foundation for brewing flavourful, progressive beers of the highest quality.
It’s about using where we’ve come from, what we’ve learned along the way and where we are now to produce the best possible beers, to innovate, and to grow our community around the world.
Our Brewery Tap & Shop, located just of the A83 at the head of Loch Fyne, welcomes visitors seven days a week - join us for an afternoon drinking the freshest possible progressive craft beers and real ale, and take a tour to hear more about the history, values and production methods of our award-winning brewery.
