Auchgoyle Farm - Farming for Wildlife

Auchgoyle Farm stay is a family run, organic, wildlife haven on the Cowal Peninsular. We are restoring the land to maximise biodiversity, using cattle, ponies, and pigs in the place of the large herbivores/omnivores that used to roam the UK.

Come & run, cycle, walk or just lie back & watch the buzzards soar over your head. Join us on our journey to rewild our 80 acre farm and regenerate its soils and ecosystems. The farm lies on the Cowal and Loch Lomond Way, we're a few miles cycle from stunning sandy beaches and rock-pooling. Walk through the fields to the village shop, cafes, pubs, and golf course. Children are welcome, as are your bicycles- we have barn space & spare tools. Running & Wildlife retreats soon to come.

Overlooking Ostel Valley and the hamlet of Millhouse, Auchgoyle is a lovely large, fully modernised, environmentally friendly, 19th century farmhouse. With four big double bedrooms (one super king, two queen/king and one twin) sweeping banisters, kitchen/dining room and spacious sitting room/library. It is the perfect get-away for families or friends. It even has an office hide-away for any last-minute work and a playroom for children.
