ECHO Trails - East Cowal Heritage Trails

ECHO Trails showcases and highlights a number of historic landmarks around the east Cowal peninsula as well as walks and other activities. The trails and landmarks encompass the shores of Loch Eck, Holy Loch, Loch Long and Loch Goil and include places of interest in Kilmun, Blairmore, Strone, Ardentinny and Lochgoilhead. 

From Vikings to Victorians, this small corner of Cowal is rich in history dating back over 3000 years with the ECHO Trails seeking to bring this heritage to life.

East Cowal is a gateway to the Scottish Highlands and just 90 minutes from Glasgow and the central belt by road or ferry. There’s so much to see, do, eat and drink in this spectacular part of Argyll.
