In 2015, three women began distilling a premium gin at the north end of the Isle of Jura using fifteen botanicals they could grow or gather on the island with a unique distillation process. The result is a zesty, aromatic, award winning dry gin.

They started in a kitchen with a tiny, 10 litre still called Jim, and have now converted a disused stables building to house Hamish, their 200 litre alembic copper pot still. The distillery is open to visitors Monday to Friday from 10am until 4.30pm.
