Walk & Cycle Gigha

Walk & Cycle Gigha

Through the 'Gateway to Gigha' project, a brand new 9km path network is being developed across the island linking to sites of interest including beaches and viewpoints that have previously been either difficult to get to or completely inaccessible. The project is also improving access, knowledge, and education to the numerous historic monuments on the island through on-site informative installations that complement the landscape, online interpretation and several events and community engagement to restore and protect its heritage features.

Several of these paths are now complete and open to the public, a route map can be found in the downloadable guide section of www.visitgigha.co.uk

Please note that a number of these paths are still under development- please see the route map for updates. Please follow the Scottish Outdoor Access Code and take all litter home to help keep Gigha beautiful.
