Immerse yourself in Kintyre

The west coast of Kintyre has huge sandy beaches while the east coast is gentler, with stunning views to Arran. The fishing village of Tarbert, sits to the north. Down at the southern end of the peninsula you’ll find Campbeltown. Further south still is the Mull of Kintyre, immortalised in song by Sir Paul McCartney.

The area boasts three of Scotland’s best links golf courses within 20 miles of each other, and the quiet roads are great for cycling and walking. The Kintyre Way is an 100-mile walk that criss-crosses the peninsula. Kintyre is packed with history too. Highlights include Tarbert Castle, Skipness Castle and Saddell Castle & Abbey.
