Celtic Connections: The Argyll Connections

Founding member of the band Capercaillie, Donald Shaw is also the Creative Directory for the festival. Hailing from Argyll, this is the first Argyll connection to the festival, of which there are plenty - and with the amount of young talent in Argyll and the Isles there are sure to many more to come.

Burns Night with SSO - Eddi Reader, Karen Matheson (Taynuilt) and Robyn Stapleton - (Monday 25th Jan)
Tryst and Conundrum 21 - Lorne MacDougall is part of this and from Carradale (Thursday 28th Jan)
Roaming Roots Revue - Lau are part of this night and Aidan O’Rourke (Seil) is a member of this band (Saturday 30th Jan)
