In the summer months, communities across Argyll come together to celebrate the region’s proud farming traditions at agricultural shows. These events provide a great day out for the whole family. Watch the judging of cattle, sheep, horses, ponies and poultry and see traditional skills such as sheep shearing. There are often competitions in baking, produce, crafts and flowers, as well as vintage tractor displays, kids’ activities, bouncy castles, pipe bands, tug-o-war, dog shows and more.
