THE WORLD’S BIGGEST CYCLING COMMUNITY

Through Wild About Argyll's relationship with Mark Beaumont, a unique partnership deal has been struck with the Global Cycling Network who are developing their marketing activity in Scotland in anticipation of the World Cycling Championships in 2023.

Global Cycling Network will feature the Argyll & Isles as their first destination partnership in Scotland.

REACHING AND ENGAGING WITH 40M+ CYCLISTS GLOBALLY 

With a YouTube community of over 4 million with 17% in the UK and Ireland and 72% aged between 25 and 55, they are the world’s number 1 video creators of cycling content.

The campaign will focus on 3 video features of Scotland's Adventure Coast including Bikepacking on the Wild About Argyll trail, Biking & Rafting and a challenge to cycle 200km without touching tarmac.

 

VIDEO MARKETING

1. Jenny Graham, a well known Scottish adventurer and round the world cyclist embarks on a Rail & Trail adventure in some of the most stunning scenery in Scotland. Jenny teams up with regular Global Cycling Network presenter Manon Lloyd, a former racer and Team GB track competitor.

2. Packrafting: another high profile cyclist take an epic ride/raft across lochs and islands on bikes and kayaks.

3. Two presenters take on a challenge to ride 200km around Scotland's adventure coast without touching tarmac. The route will link together ancient drovers roads, forest trails, loch side bike trails and even beaches.

We make pilgrimages to steep mountain roads, to smooth black ribbons of coastal tarmac, and seek out new places to ride around the world. Our content celebrates the riding in these destinations, inspiring our millions of viewers and followers to visit these epic locations.
