16th Century Castle near Oban

Barcaldine Castle is set on the peaceful shores of Loch Creran on the West Coast of Scotland, 9 miles north of Oban.

During the summer season it is open as a bed and breakfast with 6 resplendent, individual rooms.  Exclusive use during summer is also available.  Breakfast is provided, along with daily housekeeping and our team are on hand to assist with your stay.  Access to the kitchen is limited during this period.

Between November and March the castle is open for exclusive use hire on a self catering basis only. Perfect for special occasions and family gatherings for a maximum of 12 adults and 3 children.  After welcoming you, we leave you to enjoy undisturbed use of the castle for the duration of your booking.

We also host weddings for up to 36 guests and between April and October when we are fully staffed for the season.
