Double aspect Lighthouse views, Coastal Walks and Songs of Seals

Burnside Lodge is a cosy two room B&B in the quiet village of Port Wemyss on Islay's spectacular Rhinns peninsula. Both guest rooms have double-aspect views across to Orsay and its historic Lighthouse, with seals often visible, and sometimes heard across the water. Walks lead straight from the door around the coastal path or around the corner to neighbouring Portnahaven and the cosy An Tigh Seinnse pub, while the garden offers a peaceful spot to wathc the wildlife and enjoy the view. Guests can enjoy homemade biscuits, fresh milk and a relaxed informal stay. An occasional cafe is open in the guest lounge serving homemade food, baking and coffee and Burnside Lodge is also home to Islay's first wild Sauna, a simple social sauna experience rooted in nature with lighthouse views and the sound of the sea.
