The house is set on a working croft near Kintra.
It is situated seven miles from Bunessan and two miles from Fionnphort from where boats run to Iona and Staffa, and there are well-stocked stores, local crafts, restaurants and bars offering all the necessities and more for your holiday in both villages. Mull is a truly magical place. With over 300 miles of dramatic coastline, stunning beaches to enjoy and explore and the Island offers incredible scenery, walking and wildlife. The scenery, ranging from the high basaltic plateau of the north, to the rounded granite hills of the "Ross of Mull", the long, southern peninsula of Mull, from Kinloch to Fionnphort, on which the cottage is situated. It is an ideal destination for bird watching and observing the unique Hebridean wildlife, which roam free in their natural environment. Explore the many "white sandy" coves and beaches on the "Ross" and on Iona, which are washed by the waters of the Gulf Stream. Visiting the neighbouring Islands of Iona and Staffa will also be a highlight for your holiday.
