Loch Riddon Bothy

Uniquely located looking over Loch Riddon to the mountains beyond

Located on the east side of Loch Riddon, 3 miles north of Colintraive on Argyll’s Secret Coast, Loch Riddon Bothy is an architect designed modern bothy. It is set in a unique location with views out over the sea loch to the mountains beyond. The Bothy sleeps up to two adults on a mezzanine platform accessed by a ladder. The double mattress has top quality, pure linen sheets and pillow cases with wool filled duvet and pillows. The main living area provides a small kitchen handmade from pre-used whisky staves with fridge, mini oven and small hob. The colourful worktop has been custom made for us by Mirrl, a small Glasgow company, using Japanese lacquer techniques. The woodburning stove comes set ready to light with a full basket of logs. There is a table and chairs for two and a tweed covered sofa as well as locally made soft furnishings and artwork. Wifi is provided. The spacious shower room comes with towels and locally made natural soap and shower gel. Outside, the Bothy has a deck with seating as well as a BBQ.
