Lonan Country House & Gardens is set among the rolling hills of the picturesque village of Taynuilt, just one mile from the local train station. Within walking distance you’ll find a well-stocked grocery store, a post office, a charming nine-hole golf course for enthusiasts, and captivating walks along the piers of Loch Etive.

We offer six beautifully renovated suites, ranging from one to two bedrooms, each with breathtaking views of Ben Cruachan, Ben Starav, and the elegant architecture and landscaped grounds of our gardens. Whether you’re joining us for a romantic escape, a family holiday, or a gathering with friends to explore the Highlands and Islands, you’ll enjoy the perfect blend of luxury and comfort.

On arrival, you’ll be greeted with a welcome hamper filled with local cheese, homemade bread, jams and chutneys, and fresh milk.

With the stunning West Coast right on your doorstep, you can easily enjoy ferry day trips to the beautiful Inner Hebridean Islands. The nearby harbour town of Oban offers everything you might need – from food stores and pharmacies to boutique shopping and acclaimed restaurants serving freshly caught seafood.
