Isle of Gigha Ranger Service

Connecting you to Gigha's wonderful natural environment and cultural heritage

The Isle of Gigha Ranger Service set up by the Isle of Gigha Heritage Trust in 2020 is responsible for promoting and protecting the island's natural, cultural, and historical heritage, and supporting community and visitor engagement. The service, led by our friendly Island Ranger, Casey-Jo, provides a series of family friendly guided walks and events, as well as improving visitor experience. The role aims to preserve the island’s historical and natural heritage through interpretation and conservation plans, improve access through a new cycle and walking path network, provide training opportunities for residents, carry out biological recording and develop low carbon initiatives across the island. Ranger Guided Walks are currently being run every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month between April and September. Contact Casey-Jo to secure your booking!
