Lismore Gaelic Heritage Centre

Gaelic Heritage Centre & Cafe

Putting the Gaelic language and culture at the heart of Lismore

This centre, dedicated to celebrating and recognising Gaelic language and culture at the heart of Lismore, has been created by volunteers. The eco-friendly building has a grass roof and geothermal heating and houses an Exhibition Area, a Library, an Archive room, a Gift Shop, a Café, an office, and toilets.

Sitting beside the centre is the award-winning Taigh Iseabal Dhaidh - a faithfully reconstructed crofter’s cottage illustrating the old Lismore way of life.

Open
