Deer Island Rum

An island full of spirit

Deer Island Distillers are the Isle of Jura's rum producers, who launched in May 2021. Deer Island Distillers was founded by Jura-born Michael Walton and his Jersey-born partner Charlotte Gillett. Our primary product is a spiced rum however we use byproducts of the production process to produce a marmalade and rum raisins. We also produce a cold brew coffee rum drink in collaboration with Argyll Roasters. Our distillery and shop are all found in one location and you we welcome visitors from March through to October each year. You will also find us at events throughout Argyll and Scoltand during the winter months.
