Kilchoman Distillery

Kilchoman Distillery is a family-run, independently owned Islay farm distillery, rooted in tradition and defined by its unique Single Farm Single Malt Scotch Whisky.  Established in 2025, it marked the first new distillery to be built on the island in over 124 years.  

Uniquely, Kilchoman is the only distillery on Islay to produce single malt whisky entirely on-site, following a true farm-to-bottle philosophy.  From barley grown on Rockside Farm to malting, distillation, maturation and bottling, every stage of the whisky-making process takes place a the distillery. 

As one of Islay's smallest distilleries, Kilchoman offers an intimate and authentic visitor experience, with regular tours and tastings throughout the year.  Guests can also enjoy the on-site café, serving light lunches, homemade cakes and freshly prepared tea and coffee.
