Mach Squared

A major joint exhibition by brothers David Mach HRSA and Robert Mach. Known for their bold, playful and deeply human approach to making, the Mach brothers share a lifelong creative dialogue that stretches from Fife to the international stage. This exhibition brings their practices together for the first time in Argyll, transforming Tighnabruaich Gallery into a space of energy, humour and reflection. Expect large-scale sculptural works, collage, and mixed-media pieces that explore identity, pop culture, and the stories we tell about ourselves. Both artists challenge conventions of material and meaning — from Robert’s intricate constructions to David’s iconic assemblages and installations. Mach Squared is a celebration of making, connection, and family. Delivered as part of RSA200: Celebrating Together, a national programme marking the 200th anniversary of the Royal Scottish Academy.
