Mark your calendars! Join us for a special open weekend at the Kilchoan Melfort Trust as part of Scotland's Gardens Scheme (SGS). This is a rare chance to explore Kilchoan Gardens, where we combine traditional gardening with conservation. What to expect: - Diverse Collections: Explore our Himalayan garden featuring Rhododendrons, Meconopsis and Primula species, a lush arboretum with conifers for conservation, a traditional walled garden for vegetable production, and more formal gardens around the properties. - Regenerative garden: Discover willow structures, plants for pollinators, and wildlife corridors. - Charity Support: 60% of admissions go to our nominated charities, including Breast Cancer Now - Family & pet Friendly: Children enter for free, and four-legged friends are welcome on short leads! - Refreshments: Home-baking products including Chocolate Fudge Cake, Carrot Cakes, Venison Sausage Rolls, Quiche, Victoria Sponge, Cookies, Fruit Cake, provided by Polly's Coffee Stop.
