Wild About Argyll x Portavadie: Wellness Weekend Giveaway

1. Who’s running the competition (the promoter)

This competition is organised by Argyll & the Isles Tourism Cooperative Ltd (AITC). This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram. AITC is the responsible organisation for this competition.

2. The prize

• The Prize is 1x overnight stay in a 'Portavadie Cabin' for 2 guests with breakfast and access to our Spa and Leisure Experiences.
• It includes:
  • One-night stay in a Portavadie Cabin for 2 people
  • Full Scottish breakfast
  • Complimentary access to the Leisure Experience and Spa Experience for 2 hours daily - Subject to availability
    
• The prize is valued at approximately. £240. Any additional costs, e.g. cost of travel or upgrades, will be met by the winner.
• Redeeming the prize is subject to availability at Portavadie. The prize must be taken before 22 December 2026. Any excluded dates, supplements or booking restrictions will be confirmed by Portavadie at the time of booking. If the prize cannot be provided as described for reasons outside the promoter’s control, the promoter will offer a reasonable equivalent prize of similar value where possible.

3. How to enter

• The competition will open at 8:30am (BST) on the 10th June 2026 and close at midnight (BST) on the 17th of June 2026.

• The single winning entrant will be selected and notified no later than the 18th of June 2026 via their Instagram messages.
• No purchase is necessary to take part. Note that mobile charges may apply.
• Only one entry per person is allowed. 
• You must be 18 or older on the date you enter. 
• You must reside in the UK to take part.

4. Winner selection and notification

• The winner will be randomly selected using an online tool.
• The winner will be selected on Wild About Argyll's Instagram stories on 18th June 2026 by 1 pm.
• The winner will be contacted via direct messages on Instagram by a representative of Wild About Argyll. Consent will be obtained to share the winner's name. If consent is provided, it will be shared on Instagram.
• The winner must respond within 7 days of being notified of the win. If the winner does not claim their prize, an alternate winner will be chosen using the same method.
• The promoter’s decision is final and binding, save where prohibited by law.
• The promoter will make available information that confirms a valid award took place. This may include the winner’s surname and county. The winner may object to this information being published or request that the amount of information published is reduced, but the promoter may still be required to provide details to the Advertising Standards Authority if challenged.
• These T&Cs are governed by the laws of Scotland.

5. Important details

• The prize cannot be exchanged, transferred, or refunded, and there’s no cash alternative.
• Redeeming your prize is subject to Portavadie's availability. If the prize is not available, the promoter will offer a reasonable equivalent prize of similar value where possible.
• Portavadie booking terms apply. 

6. Data and privacy

• If you win, we’ll need your name, email address and phone number to arrange your prize. 
• Your details will be handled securely and in line with our Privacy Policy. 
• Personal data will never be sold or shared with third parties for unrelated marketing purposes. 
• Personal data collected for this competition will be used only to administer the giveaway, contact the winner and arrange fulfilment of the prize, unless the entrant has separately consented to receive marketing. Winner contact details may be shared with Portavadie only for the purpose of arranging the prize. Data will be retained only for as long as necessary to administer the competition and respond to any reasonable query or challenge.

7. Limitations and liability

• We are not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, or corrupted. 
• We are not liable for any indirect, special, or consequential losses, except where required by law. 

8. Changes and cancellations

If events outside our control affect the competition, we reserve the right to change, suspend, or cancel it at any time.
