The Hayshed Gallery

Now head along to The Hayshed Gallery at Carry Farm where’s you’ll find a fabulous selection of textiles and ceramics. Fiona McPhail produces knitted textiles using yarn from her Hebridean sheep. She creates a variety of beautiful objects from cushions and tea cosies to foot stools and bags. Her sister Karen has her pottery studio here, where she makes beautiful, functional pottery. Karen’s daughter Eve has also just set up her print studio at Carry Farm, selling her unique prints.

Cowal Open Studios is a great way to discover the artists of Argyll’s Secret Coast. Over 30 local artists across the Cowal peninsula throw open the doors of their studios to the public. Head to the Cowal Open Studio website for their next exhibitions.
