ARTMIX! multi-art and film project for ages 8 – 11

We’re delighted to announce the launch of year 2 of Artmix, a multi-art and film project for young people at Dunoon Burgh Hall, funded by the National Lottery’s Young Start Fund and BFI/ Screen Argyll. The two-year project will explore the fundamental skills of filmmaking and animation with world-renowned artists and filmmakers such as Jim Parkyn (Aardman Animation) and Alasdair Satchel. The project will cover model-making and stop-frame animation, music video and short filmmaking, and film editing and composition. Wonderful local artist, Jill Bryson, will also be leading some workshops as part of the sessions. The project is open to all young people aged 8-21. Starting October 29th, it will run every Wednesday over 2 sessions: Ages 8-11 3.30pm to 5.30pm Ages 12-21 6.00om to 8.00pm All workshops are free! Please book your spot, and make sure you’re booked in to the correct age group.
