The most famous walk is the long-distance Kintyre Way. There are also some wonderful short walks on Gigha, many of which start from the ferry terminal.
The quiet country lanes, roads and off-road forest tracks and trails of Kintyre offer fantastic walking, cycling and mountain biking opportunities. Take in Kintyre's east and west coast with a circular loop around the peninsula on the Kintyre66. The hills around Campbeltown offer good mountain biking.
There’s no better way to explore Kintyre & Gigha than by foot, pedal or paddle power. The area is home to some great trails for walkers, cyclists and kayakers, including the long-distance Kintyre Way.
