Thankyou for considering Tigh Na Sgeiran B&B for your stay on beautiful Islay. We offer a warm and comfortable stay in either of our refurbished rooms – a ground level double – a twin bedded upstairs room (2 singles) Both rooms have relaxing and interesting sea views of Lochindaal just 200 m opposite.
We wish your hebridean holiday to be a memorable one – and hope our homely atmosphere with freshly made pancakes-tea/coffee on arrival and a comfortable bed at the end of the day can contribute to this.
We are very conveniently located on the right hand side just before you enter the whisky village of Bruichladdich with unobstructed views of the ocean and usually numerous wading birds- and our resident grey seal who has his chosen rock on the small reef from which the house takes its name.
We offer private parking and a spacious garden for you to enjoy. Both bedrooms offer Freeview tv, WiFi and hot drink facilities. The double room has a spacious shower with toilet en suite, whilst the twin room has a large private bathroom with bath and shower.
You are assured a delicious breakfast, cooked to order as well as freshly made bread rolls/croissants with preserves, yoghurts fruit - and tea or French cafetiere coffee.
The pretty village of Port Charlotte is 2 km down the road and offers 4 places to dine of an evening and has 2 bars.
Isobel is glad to help with distillery tour bookings etc and our farm is on the Ardnave peninsula adjacent to RSPB Reserve should you be interested in animals and wildlife.
