Discover the Argyll Journey's

Argyll Journey’s is a YouTube series, in which Wild About Argyll Trail creator and adventurer Markus Stitz takes you to some of his favourite places in Argyll. The first episode, filmed in the end of September 2022, includes a bike ride on the shores of Loch Linnhe from Kentallen to Port Appin on the Caledonia Way, an iconic 237-mile route from Campbeltown to Inverness.

Easdale is next on Markus’ itinerary, playing host to the World Stone Skimming Championships and providing the perfect ingredients for a short walk to breathe in the fresh Atlantic Air.

To end a perfect day exploring Argyll, Markus cycles one of his favourite parts of the Wild About Argyll Trail, the Bealach na Gaoithe, the ‘pass of the winds’.

All episodes of Argyll Journeys can be watched on YouTube. The walk and cycling routes can be downloaded as GPX files at www.wildaboutargyll.co.uk/journeys.
